What is Digital Signage
Digital signage comprises of one or more visual devices (generally flat-panel television screens) that can be controlled remotely to display a wide range of information, entertainment and advertising contents to achieve a variety of objectives.
A restaurant or bar could have just one or two screens to promote today's specials, drawing customers' attention to food and beverage or to promote upcoming events.
A retail chain might have hundreds of stores, each with multiple screens that display specials, promotions, or information that matches the target customers' interests. This network of screens is controlled from a central point allowing the marketing manager to quickly and easily create and broadcast new messages to their retail store network.
Corporate Clients can use digital signage for corporate communications, to complement the intranets and newsletters, or to communicate to clients in waiting rooms.
